Christian and Social Action (CASA)
CASA will hold monthly public meetings from 16th April and invites the black community to listen, discuss and participate in turning words and ideas into action. Admission is free, with donations welcome. Meetings
will be held at the Yaa Asantewaa Arts and Community Centre, 1 Chippenham
Mews, London W9 2AN. 7.30pm - 9.30pm Local Writing Group Launches Anthology of Womens Writings JustWRITE Creative Writing class will be launching its first anthology on Saturday 17th April 2004. The Anthology entitled: Her Story My Story is a collection of prose, poems and short stories by the women attending the Thursday evening classes at the Masbro Centre in Shepherds Bush. The launch will start at 6pm sharp, concluding at 10pm at the Masbro Community Centre, 87 Masbro Road, Shepherds Bush, London W12. Special guest author Jasmine Johnson, will be reading from her new novel, The Devil I know. Also reading is JustWRITEs cutting edge Poet-in-Residence, Culture, and the JustWRITE Alliance.
